Hey! I just purchased Crank Brothers EggBeater C pedals. I need some good shoes that are compatible with them. Please help. List a ton of good shoes. And tell me your favorite and what you would choose. My budget is 50-120 dollars. It would be a pleasure if you can help me out! Thanks so much everyone!

I just can’t afford the peddles or the cycling shoes right now. Plus, its my very first triathlon and my goal is to just finish. I am borrowing a road bike. So, if I really like triathlons after this is over, I suppose I could invest in the cycling shoes because right now, I really enjoy riding. I have had a couple people say that using my running shoes is bad.

I have a pair of Sidi shoes with SPD cleats that I wear with my road bike. Never a problem. I’ve started doing spin class with the same shoes and find my feet are hurting after class. Do people generally use the same shoes for both, or are their shoes that are better for spinning? Thanks.

I have been taking a spin class regularly for about 2 months now, and am interested in investing in some spin shoes. What are a good brand of spin shoes? I don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on them, but I do want something that is going to be worth it. Do the shoes make a serious difference? As of now I am using a normal pair of sneakers.

I need some tips to help get the most padding on the insole of my cycling shoes, without causing my shoes to be cramped. I already have dr. shcols air pillow insoles, but it seems that i need more padding. Really, just on the fore foot. My reason being is that I have mortons neuroma in both feet and even the slighest amount of pressure against a hard surface causes problems.

It seems like there’s a lot of disparity from one brand’s shoe to the next, whether the shoes are made for road biking or mountain biking. Some mountain biking shoes seem more comfortable for everyday use or for walking. What’s the downside in getting mountain biking shoes for a road bike?
