What’s the fastest way to break in new volleyball shoes?
ch!ckaboom. asked:
I got my first pair of volleyball shoes the other day, and they still feel a little stiff. I play 8th grade volleyball, and it’s more intense than you would think, so I can’t afford to injure myself or screw up in games/practices because of shoes that haven’t been broken in yet.

Note: I know for a fact that the shoes aren’t too small, so there’s no need to comment on that.
Thanks in advance!(:

Wear them in school and around the house. Just don’t wear them for gym.
well the fastest way is to wear them to school, practice, and pretty much all day until you go to sleep…..if your like me and dont want to wear them to school, then just wear them as soon as you get home until you go to bed…..but i got new volleyball shoes like 2 weeks ago and i only wore them to my 2 1/2 hour, 5 day a week practices and they broke in in about a week.
If i were you id just wear them for practice.
i would only wear them in the gym.
ive never worn mine outside. they will break in before you know it.

Just keep wearing them and they’ll get comfortable in not too long. Thats what I did, its not that much of a pain and wont mess you up.
Don’t wear your volleyball shoes outside. You want to keep the bottoms intact.
Breaking them in shouldn’t be too much of a problem. All shoes feel a little different when you first get them. Most good players don’t break in new shoes other than just practicing/playing in them.
Do not wear your new volleyball shoes outside like others are suggesting! The only way you can really break into them is by wearing them during practices. It may be hard, but you sure don’t want to ruin your shoes.
Wear them as much as you can while indoors, perferably while playing v-ball. Don’t wear them outside because the concrete, tar, dirt, and grass will erode the bottoms of your new shoes.
